Hawaii Doc Talks was conceived of in 2014 to address the need for continuing education requirements to be met by naturopathic physicians in Hawai’i.  In an attempt to disrupt the prevailing PowerPoint paradigm, the conference is modeled after TED Talks – 25 minute presentations meant to engage and inspire, beyond simply educating.  It’s an opportunity for creating community among fellow healthcare professionals as well.  Doc Talks is held in the winter bouncing between the islands of Hawai’i, Maui, Oahu, and Kaua’i. The conference schedule is half days, with optional workshops the other half, to provide time for rest, rejuvenation, and recreation in the many ways that Hawai’i can uniquely afford.
